Our success in the field of importing eventually led to demand for us to export vehicles around the world.

Thankfully controlling the Export from the UK means that we are able to determine the optimum way to ensure the safe shipping of any vehicle.

In the instance of the 1928 Alvis depicted in the photo, this vehicle was purchased to be shipped to a Museum in Florida. Its value at the time was over the export limit, however we were able to arrange the necessary paperwork and apply for the export permits.

In the meantime the vehicle owner had had a disagreement with the seller and we were able to tactfully handle the situation without alarm to either party. The vehicle was collected and stored in a controlled environment for a period of 5 weeks whilst the necessary permits were organised. Marine insurance was arranged supported by documented proof of loading with photographs, then shipped containerised to Florida.

Here is a link to the museum that the vehicle was shipped to and it is a privilege for our company to have been involved with this export: -

Tampa Bay Automobile Museum

Many clients have used our services to ship a whole variety of vehicles, whether it be antique motorbikes, Trabants (You know, those horrible two stroke noisy smoky vehicles from Eastern Europe) to modern day Mini's, Morris Minors, Scamell trucks, the list is endless.

Exporting to some countries can be a real nightmare, even for us, so if you think we maybe able to help, then please contact us using the quotation page and we will be pleased to help you. Sometimes exporting to less popular countries can take a little longer than usual, in addition some countries have very strict import regulations, so please be sure to familiarise yourself with their laws, much of which can be learned from our customs page
